Booking.com – Mariah Carey’s Ultimate Holiday Experience

Last Christmas, Booking.com teamed up with the “Queen of Christmas” Mariah Carey to bring fans Mariah’s Ultimate Holiday Experience in New York City. One pair of lucky guests had the opportunity to book a weekend-long experience specially curated by Mariah with her top travel preferences, including a three-night stay at The Plaza, a Fairmont Hotel in New York – where Booking.com put them up in a lavish room fit for the star herself. The lucky bookers were also treated to an epic itinerary filled with festive attractions around NYC, culminating in cocktails and a Christmas card photoshoot at a private space in Mariah’s gorgeous New York City penthouse apartment.

In the role of Social Producer and Copywriter within Booking.com’s Global Social Team, I:

  • Managed the execution of this campaign’s global owned social content across Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and Facebook
  • Wrote all social copy for the owned social channels
  • Wrote suggested copy for Mariah Carey’s social content, promoting her Ultimate Holiday Experience on Booking.com
  • Created the storyboard, shot list and wrote the script of the collaborative launch which appeared on both Booking.com’s and Mariah Carey’s feed
  • Wrote a custom ‘Twas the night before Christmas’ script
