Booking.com – #SendMeThere
In 2022, Booking.com launched their Booking.yeah summer advertising campaign starring Idris Elba in new ad campaign which for the first time, showcased the leading digital travel platform’s multiple offerings; accommodation, flight, and car rental.
For the first time ever, the campaign kicked off with a Big Game ad during the Super Bowl LVI with an extension to digital, where we hijacked trending (brand) conversations on social around the Super Bowl ads with a CTA to join our #SendMeThere giveaway, through which fans could a dream vacation to anywhere.
In the role of Social Producer and Copywriter within Booking.com’s Global Social Team, I:
- Managed the execution of the global owned social content across Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and Facebook
- Wrote all social copy for the owned social channels and reviewed the copy of Idris Elba’s social content
- Co-briefed our social agency to create a Community Management plan around the Big Game to drive positive brand engagement and entries to our #SendMeThere giveaway
