Nike Football – When in Rome
After the season-ending knee injury of Kevin Strootman, Nike Football captured the recovery story of the AS Roma midfielder. Having endured a similar injury, FOT (Football Obsessed Teen) Ewold Jansen engaged with us in conversation through social and showed his support on Kevin’s road to recovery.
Kevin returned the favour and kept him motivated on his own path to recovery. To motivate Ewold even more on his path to full recovery we recorded a personal message for him which Strootman then shared as reply to Ewold’s tweet. Also giving him a pair of Magista’s like Strootman to make sure he’s ready to get back on the pitch.
Once Kevin made his comeback, we rewarded Ewold his own hard work to get back onto the pitch by flying him out to Rome to see Kevin play in the derby against Lazio Roma.
We captured this journey through authentic Nike Football App/social content and inspired & motivated other FOT’s by showing them that hard work pays off.
For this campaign I’ve:
