Uber – Driving Hour Limit

Everyone wants to get home safely. That’s why Uber introduced a new app feature designed to reduce drowsy driving and help drivers stay alert behind the wheel.

The feature limits a driver’s total “on-trip time” – from accepting a trip to completing it – to 12 hours. Once that limit is reached, drivers must take a mandatory six-hour break, during which they cannot go online or accept new ride requests through the Uber app.
